The Academy of Medical Arts is a place for students to become academic scholars ready for both college and career, to participate in society in meaningful ways, to advocate for healthy communities, to explore the amazing and varied opportunities for careers in health science, mental and behavioral health, medical technology, and public health. AMA is a place where student voice is honored and opportunities exist for students to use multiple lenses to examine the health science and medical practice around the world, make ethical decisions to improve the health and quality of life in our community, and practice skills in health science beyond the classroom walls.
AMA welcomes students, parents, and community members to get involved in AMA.
2012-2013 is the first year The Academy of Medical Arts will exist as a Pilot School on the Carson High Complex. We bring our years of success and energy from Carson Health and Medical Partnerships and Humanitas to AMA and look forward to a productive year celebrating student achievement in and out of the classroom.
